Concrete Wheel Stops

Published May 20th, 2019 by Truelinesadmin

Concrete and rubber wheel stops, also known as car stops, are installed in parking stalls to prevent vehicles from parking on sidewalks, medians or other restricted areas. A well-placed wheel stop can protect structures from vehicles, as well as encourage drivers to pull all the way into stalls. This can help ensure adequate clearance behind the vehicle and reduce incidences of “fender benders” in your parking lot.

Car stops are essential for the safety of patrons and can be a major liability if left damaged. The Standard Stop is made with 3500 p.s.i concrete and with #4 rebar used for inner stop reinforcement. Approximate weight of the Standard Stop is 135 lbs.

If you walk your parking lot and see any Wheel Stops that are cracked, broken or out of place, it is time to take action. Limit your liabilities and make your parking lot a safe place for pedestrian foot traffic and vehicles.
